The debate about how to fix the tech industry’s lack of diversity seems like it may never end. But, meanwhile, diverse founders aren’t slowing down on their paths to building innovative tech businesses.
DivInc, an Austin accelerator program for founders with diverse backgrounds, today announce
d it has selected its third cohort. The group features 15 founders, which include eight women and nine people with underrepresented backgrounds.
DivInc has worked with 18 companies and 24 founders since launching last year. The accelerator says those companies have since raised a combined $600,000. Ashley Jennings, co-founder and chief marketing officer at DivInc, said half of the new cohort companies have already posted revenue...
